Abstract
"The simplification of the intake process at a community justice center will allow for a smoother transition into programming and treatment for clients. The Community Justice Support Center (CJSC) in Springfield, MA is a programming center that helps its clientele achieve the quality of life that they want while they are going through the criminal justice system. The CJSC decided that the intake process was confusing and not engaging. This project was focused on the improvement of the intake process so that participants would be more engaged in the program This engagement will lead to the client having a better understanding of the treatment plan and retention of program expectations."
