Abstract
"It is hypothesized that the implementation of a student-run occupational therapy (OT) center can increase access to necessary holistic healthcare services, promote health equity and alleviate the influence of social and health disparities on community-dwelling members while advancing students’ clinical practice. Through the completion of this doctoral experiential project (DEx) evidence regarding the efficacy and need for a student-run OT center was gathered through an extensive review of the literature and implementation of a 6-week pilot study."
