Abstract
"Due to an increasing number of patients, surgeries, competition, and limited government support, the healthcare industry needs to respond to these challenges as quickly as possible and use its limited resources efficiently. In hospitals, Operating Rooms (ORs) are considered among the most important and costly departments that generate a significant portion of revenues. Management of ORs is not easy due to the integration of many stakeholders with conflicting priorities, such as surgeons, patients, nurses, and management."
