Abstract
"The current research investigated the application of eye-tracking technology and PC-based Aviation Training Device (PCATD) in the training of novice pilots. It was expected that improving pilots' gaze behavior enhance pilots' situation awareness and flight performance. The effectiveness of the training intervention was evaluated using eye movements, flight, and verbal data. The target population of the current research was student pilots of general aviation (GA) who fly under visual flight rules (VFR) in the daytime with single-engine aircraft."
