Abstract
"There is limited investigation of procedures for teaching vocal responses to persons with disabilities. In this study we evaluated three commonly used teaching procedures for establishing an echoic repertoire with five students with autism or a related disability. Items deemed as highly preferred during preference assessments were selected for the training phase. A probe was then completed to identify at least two sets of three appropriate target sounds for each participant."
