Abstract
"Four researchers collaborated to lay the foundation of the Bringing Equity, Accessibility, and Rehabilitation to People Achieving Wellness (BEAR PAW) House. The BEAR PAW House will be affiliated with the Division of Occupational Therapy at Western New England University (WNE). Furthermore, the BEAR PAW House will be a pro bono student-run clinic offering occupational therapy services, however, the vision of the BEAR PAW House is to become an interprofessional clinic to promote health equity and address health disparities in Hampden County, MA. The focus of this researcher’s doctoral experiential was the reimbursement processes of student-run clinics. Through comprehensive research on reimbursement, a pro bono model was chosen to ensure the BEAR PAW House is accessible to our community of Hampden County, MA."
