Abstract
In November 2019, the Author spoke at the Western New England Law Review held its symposium, On Account of Sex: Women’s Suffrage and the Role of Gender in Politics Today. This Article contains excerpts from Chapters 7 and 8 of her book, Massachusetts in the Woman Suffrage Movement: Revolutionary Reformers, in which she explores the many changes in the suffrage campaign as the Gilded Age gave way to the Progressive Era at the start of the twentieth century.
