November 7, 2018 -- Global Patient Safety Law, Policy, and Practice – With Particular Focus on Developing and Transitioning Countries
On November 7, 2018, the Western New England University School of Law's Clason Speaker Series hosted a talk by John Tingle on "Global Patient Safety Law, Policy, and Practice – With Particular Focus on Developing and Transitioning Countries" in the Blake Law Center Common. Professor Barbara Noah introduced the speaker. Dr. Tingle is an Associate Professor at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, currently serving as a visiting scholar at Harvard Law School. His research focused on the development of patient safety policies, cultures, and structures in developing and transitioning countries. He is a regular columnist for the British Journal of Nursing and a contributor to Harvard Law's Bill of Health blog. Tingle has published more than 500 articles and a number of leading texts on patient safety and nursing law.
