October 26, 2015 -- Race, Gender and American Democracy
Dr. Christina M. Greer, Professor of Political Science at Fordham University, was a Clason speaker at Western New England University School of Law on October 26, 2015. Her research and teaching focuses on American politics, black ethnic politics, urban politics, quantitative methods, and public opinion. She is the author of Black Ethnics: Race, Immigration, and the Pursuit of the American Dream. She spoke about the interconnectedness of race and gender in contemporary American society and the importance of examining both as a means to understand and improve the American democracy.
