Abstract

On September 23, 2013, Michael Gerrard, the Andrew Sabin Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia Law School, spoke at Western New England University School of Law as part of the Clason Lecture series. He lectured on the environmental impacts affecting the Islands of the Pacific, especially the Marshal Islands, which are threatened by rising seas, largely as a result of increasing greenhouse gas emissions, and how the law can help protect the threatened people who live there.
